Our Story
We started with a single machine, a lot of curiosity, and a deep respect for the craft of sewing.
Who We Are
Feed Dog Co. was founded in 2026 with a simple belief: high-quality sewing machines deserve a second chance. Too many well-built machines end up in attics, estate sales, or worse โ the landfill โ simply because no one knows how to fix them or what they're worth.
We repair, restore, and rehome machines from the brands that built reputations over decades: Bernina, Pfaff, Viking, Elna, and the beloved Singer Featherweight. These aren't disposable products โ they're precision instruments that, with proper care, outlast their owners.
Every machine in our shop gets a full evaluation, honest repair, and a test run before it's listed for sale or returned to its owner. We give written estimates, honest timelines, and plain-English explanations โ no jargon, no surprises.
We also offer free donation pickups, because the best machine is one that's being used.
What We Stand For
You'll always know what's wrong, what it'll cost, and why โ before we touch anything.
We accept donations in any condition. Every machine that can be saved, will be.
We sell machines at fair market value, not inflated auction prices. We'd rather you love your purchase.
We respond promptly and keep you updated at every step of your repair. No ghosting.
Our Focus
We specialize in the brands built to last โ mostly European-made machines from the peak decades of mechanical engineering in home sewing.
